The Water Taxi Beach & Beer Garden at South Street Seaport is 18,000 square feet of fun, food, sun, recreation and relaxation. Located along the water’s edge on the north side of Pier 17 at South Street Seaport, this Beach offers the most spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River in the city.  The Water Taxi takes you all around the New York City area as a form of water transportation, offering a unique way to have fun!  You can stop by and catch some rays or build a castle in the sand at the Beer Garden or head over to grab a drink and play a game of ping pong.  If you're lucky, you may win a free ride on the Shark Speedboat Thrill Ride or a cruise on New York Water Taxi. 

Replenish and rehydrate at Fish Shack serving up seafood treats ilke an authentic Baja Fish Taco, beer-batter fish & chips, or fresh calms, oysters or shrimp at the Raw Bar. Or enjoy one of our famous hot dogs or one of our award-winning Motz burgers.  Unwind at the end of the week at our Eat it Raw Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm and take advantage of $3 off drink specials and .80 per piece clam, shrimp and oysters.  Once the sun sets, Water Taxi Beach South Street Seaport becomes a playground for the 21+ crowd with rotating legendary NYC DJs all week and parties all weekend long.  Water Taxi Beach South Street Seaport is a perfect location to host private parties and corporate events.
